Join us for a haunted ghost tour and whiskey tasting!
For those that are not yet aware, the streets of New Hope are notoriously haunted - quite possibly the most haunted town in America!
Located along the scenic Delaware River, New Hope has history dating back to before the Revolutionary war. The town's history and that of American whiskey in Pennsylvania parallel in many ways. Let’s discover where their stories cross. Each whiskey is thoughtfully paired with each of the six haunted sites on the tour. (Each pairing will involve what may have been historically accurate or what may have been available at the local tavern when each spirit lived and walked these very streets...)
Perhaps the thirsty specters of New Hope will join us for a sip...

#1- Villa Vito Restaurant is owned and operated by the Favoroso family and has been serving authentic Italian food for over 42 years. The location is along one of the oldest carriage routes between Philadelphia and New York and we will discuss the history of hauntings in New Hope, once known as Coryell’s Ferry. Here we will be tasting Laird's blended Apple Jack made by Laird & Company.
#2 Neshaminy Creek Taproom, in the heart of New Hope, is situated inside the Ferry Market building on Main Street. Offering cold beers to enjoy on site, as well as takeout to enjoy togo! Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co. was founded in 2010, by Jeremy Meyers, Rob Jahn, and Steve Capelli, but officially opened its doors in Croydon on June 1st, 2012. We will pop in for a spooky tale and taste of their beer.
#3- The Salt House This picturesque location right on the Delware River is directly across from the the ferry launch site that made New Hope an important town before the Revolutionary War. The location is eerie and the hauntings are notorious! We will discuss its haunted past and taste a classic and "light profile" bourbon, Basil Hayden.
#4 The Great Barn Taproom The Aquatong Creek, which flows behind the taproom and into the Delaware has The brewers at Great Barn Brewery will allow each guest to choose a sample from the seasonal beers on tap.
#5 Zoubi Restaurant Joseph Pickett is the most famous ghost in New Hope and has been sighted by many locals in the town. We will discuss the hauntings not only in the building but around town. Our tour guide has actually had an experience with this ghost...This stop will be paired with TBD bourbon.
#6 CBD Timme & Vapor Timme The Parry Mansion was built in 1784 by Benjamin Parry, one of New Hope's founders. The house has the distinction of having been occupied by four generations of Benjamin Parry's direct descendants. Not only does the Parry Mansion have a history of hauntings , but so does the shop next door! The building is haunted by the ghosts of Jaques (once a local resident) and Britt (She prefers the back porch). We will take a short break to browse the vapor shop. The pairing here will be a TBD rye whiskey.
#7 LAST STOP! The Triumph Brewery Company in New Hope was built from the bones of an old paper mill. There are plenty of haunted sites near the brewery, but we will focus on the hauntings in what is now the New Hope Arts Center. Its foundations date back to before the Revolutionary War…unexplained phenomena abound there even today! We will enjoy an autumn inspired cocktail to wrap up the evening.
